Selling Tips

When you bring in your vehicle, make your car as presentable as possible, clean it thoroughly, top up with oil and check the tyre pressures. We can't over-emphasize the importance of presentation, remember it's to your advantage and will help your car achieve a higher price.

Bring your vehicle in as early as possible and have the correct documents with you, a valid V5, and if available, MOT certificate, tax disc, spare keys and service history. Also please make a note of the mileage reading, which is required on the entry form you complete. Be as accurate as possible with the description of your vehicle, if the vehicle has any significant extras these should be noted as they may enhance the value of the vehicle. If you want to set a "Reserve Price" (i.e. the minimum price that you would accept) carefully check price guides to ensure that the price you set is realistic.
